Las Ventanas al Paraíso Introduces Spa Ritual: Sound-Healing Power of Crystal Tones
Guests at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, are getting in tune with the earth’s frequency by participating in the resort’s new Crystal Tones Sonic Meditation rituals.
Las Ventanas has introduced a sound-healing ritual at sunrise and sunset. The spa staff gathers with guests and plays crystal bowls that create a harmony of tonal music, encouraging thoughtful meditation while empowering the spirit.
The purpose of the ritual is to focus our intention on healing," explained Damian Viera, spa director at Las Ventanas. "The vibrations emanating from the crystal bowls create a healing energy that helps our staff and guests alike to prepare themselves for the day and the work ahead," he said.
In ancient times, crystal singing bowls were treasured for their potent transformational powers and were used in temples and ritual healing practices. Shamans and priests often carried small crystal bowls for healing on their nomadic journeys. Today, the 'singing' of the bowls is designed to help balance the body to a state of wholeness and harmony, on the physical, mental as well as spiritual level.
Las Ventanas has 71 spacious suites with unique appointments hand-crafted by Mexican artisans, individual telescopes for stargazing, a holistic spa and signature Baja-Mediterranean cuisine.
