A Highbrow Facelift
by Marilyn Green

prod-2-207It's amazing how important brows are to the whole look of the face. They create the expression (just try drawing a face with different browlines), define the eyes and even the shape of the face, yet we give them so little attention, and often the wrong attention.

I am so guilty. I inherited cowlick eyebrows, with long, slightly curling, unruly hair miles away from the sleek lines I admire. So of course I have plucked and penciled them practically into oblivion. What I'd love is well behaved, full natural brows; what I have is sparse-in-some-places thin ones. Well, that's what I had a month ago, before Billion Dollar Brows. The results of using their products were so dramatic that I was asked twice whether I'd had a Îluncheon lift'.

Natalie and Bob Plain created the Billion Dollar Brows products and their Beverly Hills salon to help customers all over the world have thick, natural brows at an affordable price.

prod-2-106They created a set of products to help men and women restore thin, over-plucked eyebrows, headed up by Brow Boost, a clear conditioner applied by a wand that produced surprising results for me in under a month. According to instructions, I applied Brow Boost nightly, and I really did see the brows start to fill in after just three weeks; at a month the change is unmistakable. The cost: $19.95.

In addition to Brow Boost, BDB brought out their 3 Steps to Beautiful Brows Kit, with Brow Gel and a Universal Brow Pencil, one of the best I have ever seen for creating a natural line.

I'm all in love with their Brow Powder in a tiny compact, offered in blonde, taupe and raven for $15.95; if you don't have one, buy the separate double headed angled brush for applying and the spooly brush for blending; it looks fabulous and it lasts all day, even in hot weather.

Forever Lash ($19.95) is for lashes what Brow Boost is for eyebrows, with volumizing proteins and vitamins working to fatten, strengthen and enrich thin lashes.

The company also sells various kits combining products, in the $30-$50 range. For more information or to order visit:
